One of the Wolverines - A featured article in Robert Russa Moton Museum’s “Moton Magazine Project”, which involves telling the stories of local Civil Rights era survivors in Farmville, VA. I was honored to interview and write an article on a local woman for this project, with my work being featured in the fourth volume of the magazine, Our Legacy: Stories from Prince Edward County, Virginia. This project exemplifies my diverse experience in professional writing and my ability to write content-based stories while combining my love for civil and human rights.

Academic and SCIENTIFIC wRITING
Ideological ‘World State’ Apparatuses: Fleeting Freedom in Fahrenheit 451 - I wrote this essay as a thesis capstone, exemplifying my academic specialization in Literary Theory. I presented this essay at Longwood University’s annual symposium in 2021; in addition, this essay was one of many featured in my graduate school applications as an example of my work.
Guitar’s Ghoulish, Ghastly, and Gaunt Ghosts - I was honored to present this essay at Missouri State University’s Undergraduate Literature Conference in 2020. Subsequently, the essay was published in the conference’s magazine.
The Effects of COVID-19 Isolation on Binge-Drinking Behavior in College Students - I conducted a study in 2020 at the forefront of the COVID-19 pandemic. Through Longwood University, I conducted this study regarding students’ behavior with alcohol consumption pre- and post-pandemic. I presented this study at Longwood University’s annual Research Showcase Symposium and it was subsequently published on the university’s digital commons.

Social Psychology Key Concepts Video Lesson - While working as a teaching assistant, I explored different ways to teach key concepts to my students; I parodied drawing on a whiteboard and used voice commentary, implementing a comedic tone in an attempt to “make learning fun”. This video visualizes my experience in teaching as well as my experience with creating videos, video editing, etc.
General Intellectual Functioning: WAIS-IV Report - During my studies in Psychology, learning how to conduct various interviews and run psychological exams is a key concept.
